Love Love LOVE! :D

My favourite part of Jenny Penny Beach Boutique was the moment I had walked in and felt like I was in a high end fashion store with characteristics of Isla that made me feel so welcome. The staff are extremely friendly and easy to speak too. The quality of the pieces (from bathing suits to jewelry) are absolutely phenomenal and one of a kind! As much as I enjoy my city shopping from where I am from, the time, effort and love dedicated to the pieces at Jenny Penny is something you just can't find anywhere else. I love supporting small businesses and this boutique supports Isla Mujeres. This is a must stop shop when you travel to the island!

Some place DIFFERENT to shop!

Learned about this place from a woman on trip adviser. Local handmade items that are very tasteful and different. Not the usual same old items every place in town has! I bought a kleenex box cover that was recycled newspaper. Painted with vines and leaves which goes well in my common bathroom with other tropical touches. Also bought a few handmade bracelets and earring sets. A little more up scale and prices were little bit higher but worth it. Saw a few pretty swim suits too but I didn't really need another suit! Small bar next store where you can dump your husband off so you can shop!!! I will go back there next time I am on the island.

Yeasssssss!!! Definitely a must when in Isla

This shop was the perfect place for all my cute beach essentials. I picked up quite a few things.....swimsuits, jewelry, paintings...... Everything was so unique. I've already gotten a few comments on some items I've picked up there and I haven't even left Mexico yet!!

Jenny Penny saved my beach vacation!

I arrived in Isla Mujeres sans bikini (long story) and was a bit discouraged (and quite befuddled) by the lack of reviews for places that sold swimwear. One of my travel buddies spotted a shop that she said had some cute bikinis.

She wasn't kidding.

Not only are all of the bikini's sold at this adorable little subterranean boutique handmade locally, they are also super flattering and easy to mix and match. I left with three adorable new suits and a super cool (IMHO) coverup / sundress that I cannot wait to rock when summer rolls around. Plus 1,000 points for the super helpful yet unobtrusive service - the young lady behind the counter could not have been nicer.
